was created in 1994 by
Berth Shaw. YogaFit® is user-friendly, demystified
style of yoga designed for every body. Yogafit is "Real Yoga for Real
people." Yogafit was designed and developed for use in the health and
fitness environment, but perfectly adapts to the studio environment.

Hatha Yoga Style
Under the Hatha Yoga umbrella there are a diversity of styles:
Ashtanga is
a
heat-builidng sequence of complicated and repetitive poses.
Kundalini
focuses on energy through the body,deep rhythmic breathing.
Iyengar emphasizes
aligment and prefecting poses,long holds;dependence on props.
Bikram is always
the same
26 poses done in a very hot
room(according to exercise science and modern
phsiology this style is
contrainicated for some people including pregnancy,multiple sclerosis,
some heart
conditions etc.)
Viniyoga
adapts the practice to each individual's needs and work well as therapy,
Vinyasa
links
poses in flowing series that warms and energizes the body in an aerobic
practice.
